A funny thing about love

I love my husband. I really do. Sometimes I have to try to remember that. I know he feels the same. It is days like today where we are trying to figure something out and just can't get on the same page that tests it that much more.

Today- money is our issue.

Not lack of but what to do with: which bills to pay first? pay off or just pay down? How much to start saving for a rainy day? How much needs to be set aside for Property taxes and such?

To make it worse for me he decided to start this conversation in the middle of a show I have waited a week to watch.

*UGH*

I know I am in love with Anthony Bourdain. He is just the sexiest man on the Travel channel. I love to listen to him talk, see him make an ass of himself and even watch him smoke. I'm baffled since I don't care for smokers or New York. LOL He is just sexy.

So now I have missed the majority of my show and we still can't figure out what our financial goal is!

I need some chocolate...


Or alcohol.

Writer's block

What do you call not being able to take a photo? I can't seem to find anything interesting to photograph. I wrote off ducks, squirrels & deer months ago.

I need inspiration.

I also feel totally overwhelmed by the wordpress thingy. I downloaded & unzipped it but it looks just like my Adobe program. So how is it different than just writing the whole thing myself?

License Plate Roundup

So I have been working on this challenge for about a year now. Not really hard-core but off & on.

I am happy to say I only have 24 more to go! (as long as they do not add anymore!)

Of those 24 -6 are military & 3 are NOT school-related plates! Weird.

The big office moving day

Today I moved the office.

OK, I had help from the Hubby, Son#2, Bossman Mike, Jason H, and 4 airmen I recruited with the help of the Hubby. It took 3 1/2 hours, 5 truck loads, 2 van loads & 2 suburban loads to empty the main office area and conference room of 14 years worth of stuff. I arranged with the landlord to leave 2 large metal desks and a file cabinet.

Now, I have a spiffy new computer to set up Monday! Then I have to find all my files and sort the storage mess but the best part is I have a room that I can depend on a constant temperature, working lights and working phone! I even have a fax machine!

I'm very thankful to the guys who pitched in! Thanks a ton, Leo, "E", Nicky, & Ski!

I'm actually excited to go to work this week.
