A conundrum

My camera choices:

Canon PowerShot SX10 IS

Pros:

• 10 megapixel
  
• 20x optical zoom
• similar to my current camera
  
• $399
  

Cons:

• no real lens options
  

Nikon D60

Pros:

• 10.2 megapixels
• faster shutter speed
• many lens options
  
• Digital SLR instead of point-n-shoot format
• similar to my son's so I have a bit of experience
  

Cons:

• $695
• zoom limited by lens size
  
• lens cost $$$$
• size is too big to carry in my purse

I just have to decide if I want convenience or more options....
